Public opinion polls are used to measure public opinion by polling a portion of the population to simulate the opinion of the entire population. The City of Glendale is using this tactic to measure the public’s opinion of homelessness policy. Currently, Glendale is running a survey that, among other things, measures how important it is for the city to support housing for those in need, part of which includes emergency shelters for the homeless.
